Macropus Global was started in 2007 by a group of IT professionals with the aim of sharing their knowledge with people who have zeal to learn new technologies but are unable to get real time training from the traditional training institutes and/or unable to attend a physical classroom. Macropus took an initiative to conduct some market research to understand the needs of the learners. The learners mentioned that most of the training institutes disseminate theory knowledge to the learners which is far away from the real life work. Learners also mentioned that instructors are unable to prepare the learners for a job as the instructors lack practical experience. Based on the feedback from the learners of the traditional training institutes, it became clear that the learners upon completion of their training did not get a chance to work on the new technology as most of the organizations want to hire people with experience. As a result of this finding Macropus designed its training program in such a way that it provides practical working knowledge to the learners from experienced working professionals.  

Macropus saw the challenge of the traditional training institutes, as working professionals will not be available to provide training from any part of the world at their convenient time. This resulted in the design of the E-Class Room training by Macropus.
E-Class Room serves the following purpose:

• E-Class Room will bring working professionals from any part of the world as instructors to train learners in different part of the world.
• Working professionals who wants to share their knowledge and experience by teaching can be part of the E-Class Room from their convenient place and time.
• Learners who want to learn from experienced professionals who live in other part of the world can be joined in E-Class Room to get trained.
• Learners who might be unable to attend physical classroom training due to their working hours and other can be part of the E-Class Room training.

Macropus has based its training programs to include all the practical knowledge they could provide to the learners. Our team came up with the idea of providing training to the learners by working professionals in their extra time and could share their knowledge by providing real-life training and prepare learners for job. Macropus has become a bridge between the working professionals who would like to share their knowledge and the aspiring learners and it has evolved to become a gateway for expert professionals and learners. Macropus treats the instructors as business partners and Globally, IT professionals who consider themselves as experts in their area and have an aspiration to share their knowledge with others become a part of Macropus team as business partners.
